David Bunzel
Managing director of Santa Clara Consulting
David will bring his perspective of 20 years covering the IT industry to TechSec Solutions and discuss the findings of his first report on the physical security landscape, Technology Convergence in Video Surveillance.
As President of the Optical Storage Technology Association, David will discuss the security industry's need for standards development as it moves into an IP-dominated technology marketplace. David is also currently studying the IP camera market and will discuss what he knows so far. He is preparing a report to be released in Feb., 2008.

Chief security and privacy officer for EDS
Dave will discuss taking over EDS' CSPO at the initial stages of converging all aspects of EDS' physical and logical security elements. As head of EDS' Chief Security and Privacy Office, Dave oversees all physical security, IT security, privacy, crisis management, executive protection, and corporate oversight for disaster recovery/business continuity, and health and safety functions.
Dave was a finalist for the Alliance for Enterprise Security Risk Management's 2006 award for leadership in convergence. During his closing keynote presentation, Dave also plans to touch upon findings from AESRM's new report, The Convergence of Physical and Information Security in the Context of Enterprise Risk Management. |
