2009 Educational Program

This year, we have responded to feedback from attendees and incorporated two tracks of panels and presentations that appeal to attendees with differing levels of familiarity and comfort with IP-based security technology. Our 201 track offers information for those who've embraced IP technology and are looking for new business applications, in-depth discussion of specific issues in the networked security universe, and more in-depth case studies. CPE credit units are available for this program toward ASIS certification.

Tuesday, February 24

8:00 - 9:00am

Keynote Address
Jack Johnson
Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers
Washington Federal Practice

Jack Johnson has spent a lifetime working in the security industry, moving from his time in the Army and as a Fairfax County detective to a high-profile position as the Chief Security Officer of the Department of Homeland Security, after his time with the Secret Service.

He now advises senior level government officials as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Washington Federal Practice, providing strategic planning for risk management, security technology, and intelligence matters to those charged with keeping the American people safe from all manner of threats.

How do IP-based security technology, high-level risk management, intelligence, and the federal procurement processes come together? What is top of mind for world's foremost security planners? Jack Johnson lives the answers to these questions and will share his experiences with you in his Keynote address at TechSec Solutions.
