David Avedikian began his career at Southwest Airlines at age 22 as a way to feed his snowboarding habit. Since Texas doesn't yield a whole lot of snow, it made places that do a little more accessible. He began his adventure on the internal tech support lines and quickly worked his way to technical project manager. He has spent the last eight years as supervisor of project development in the Corporate Facilities Security Department. David and his wife of 15 years have two boys, 11 and 8. In his time away from Southwest, he still loves to snowboard (as well as play any other sport) and he is a core member of the ComedySportz Dallas improv troupe. He also is active in a preteen ministry partner for fifth- and sixth-graders.

Dr. Bob Banerjee is Senior Director, Consultants, A&Es, NICE Systems Security Division. In this position, Banerjee develops programs and initiatives to educate, train and support NICE's extensive network of security system integrators and dealers, and provide thought leadership for NICE's security industry outreach efforts. Banerjee has more than a decade of high tech and security industry experience, having also held senior marketing and global product management positions at Bosch Security Systems, Intuitive Systems, OneSource Information Services, Axeda Systems and Nortel Networks. Bob Beliles is VP of Enterprise Marketing / Product Management for Tyco where he leads strategic Security, Fire and Safety solution initiatives. He is also a champion for Tyco's Internet of Things vision and its on-going delivery. As a voting member of Tyco's growth board, Bob fosters internal innovation, enabling Tyco's "intrapreneurs" to fuel Tyco's growth. Prior to Tyco, Bob has held a variety of leadership roles in security and networking, most recently at HP. As Identiv (Hirsch) VP of Business Development, Bob led its expansion into unified physical and logical access control and was part of two M&A exits. He also drove an investment in a cloud-based video surveillance software start-up and followed that investment with his own while handling all of its marketing activities. Joseph Grillo is a 30-year veteran of the electronic security and identification industries with a track record of successfully growing, restructuring and acquiring businesses.
Joe began his career in the 1980s working at security and fire alarm manufacturing and systems integration companies, including Kidde Automated Systems, NCS and Security Specialists.
In 1993, Joe was appointed National Sales Manager for HID Corporation. He participated in the management buyout of HID from Hughes Aircraft/General Motors in 1995. From 1995 to 2001, Joe became Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, COO and eventually President as HID grew from a $15M card and reader company to the dominant $100M industry leader. He successfully led the effort to sell the company to Assa Abloy, AB in 2001.
At Assa Abloy, Joe led the Identification Technology Group and completed more than a dozen acquisitions, primarily in Europe. In 2005, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of the parent company and appointed as President of its global technology division, including HID, Hospitality and Besam Automatic Doors. In that role, he successfully managed the $700M division with 3,000 employees in 29 countries.
Joe Grillo retired from Assa Abloy in 2007. In 2008, he was recruited by the Board of Directors to run, restructure and eventually sell the assets of Digital Angel Corporation.
In 2012, Joe and his former colleague Will West formed ACRE, LLC as a platform to initiate acquisitions in the electronic security industry, with a special focus on access control. They successfully acquired the Schlage SMS business from Ingersoll Rand in September 2012 and then completed the acquisition of Mercury Security in May 2013.
Joe graduated from University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. He served as President and Board Member of the Security Industry Association (SIA) from 1998-2007.
Jeff Hale is an MBA student at Chapman University's Argyros School of Business; he will be graduating with a marketing emphasis in May 2015. Along with his New Product Consulting duties for HID Global, Mr. Hale has also been working as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Economics.

Brian Katz graduated from the University of Miami in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in criminology. He worked for a government contractor until 2004 when he joined the U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic Security Service as a special agent.
He served as an agent in the New York Field Office from 2004 to 2006. In that role, he conducted passport fraud investigations and performed protective security for U.S. and foreign diplomats domestically and throughout Europe, including protecting the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
Brian then became assistant regional security officer at the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem, responsible for various security portfolios ranging from high threat protection in the West Bank and Gaza to management of the local guard force, physical security support for the construction project of the new consulate, investigations and supporting then-U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice during her frequent trips to Israel and the West Bank.
Following that position, he went to Diplomatic Security HQ in Rosslyn, Va., where he worked in the Office of Counterintelligence until he joined Google in January 2011.
He is currently the Global Investigations & Intelligence Manager, leading a team that investigates and analyzes wide-ranging issues that affect the safety, security and integrity of each Googler's work environment as well as the company's buildings, information and operations worldwide. Brian's team manages threats and supports the Google business through Google's 24x7 global security operations center.

Kelly S. Klatt, CPP is a former Los Angeles Police Officer having spent 15 years in various challenging assignments. With his focus being on Shopping Center Security Management, Klatt entered private industry in 1990 by joining The Hahn Company, a shopping center management firm and was a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He then spent five years with the City of San Diego as the Chief of Convention Center Police and as a member of the International Association of Assembly Managers. There his responsibilities included security at all City of San Diego public assembly facilities and parking. During which time he was in charge of security at city venues for the 1996 Republican National Convention and the 1998 Super Bowl XXXII. He was recruited in 1999 to join Loews Hotels, in Orlando to design and manage their extensive security programs. In 2004 Klatt assisted the Hellenic National Police in Athens, Greece with Emergency Operations Center functionality and training in preparation for the XXVIII Olympics.
Currently, Klatt operates the Center for Security Solutions, Inc. and is also the Area Director of Safety & Security for Loews Hotels' five-property resort campus in partnership with Universal Orlando theme parks. There he is responsible for safety and security planning, technology, investigations, personnel, policies and procedures. Additionally through C4SSi, he has been the primary Security Consultant for Lockheed Martin's "New Security Initiatives" program and Tavistock Group's "Albany" development in the Bahamas. There he designed Albany's community security and fire response programs as well as their security command center and gatehouse operations.
Klatt was designated a CPP, Board Certified in Security Management in 1993 by ASIS International. He is a certified CPTED practitioner by the National Institute of Crime Prevention, an OSHA certified Compliance Officer, as well as a Red Cross certified CPR and First Aid Instructor. Klatt is an active member of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants and was recently the Vice Chairman of the ASIS International Hospitality Entertainment and Tourism Security Council.

Jim Lash is the Director of the Advanced IT Installation team for Diebold Enterprise Security. In this role, Jim is responsible for understanding the overall project design, architectural drawings and job specification details to ensure the success of a project by taking ownership of all IT functions and expectations. Also in this role, Jim oversees team members in the programming and advanced integration of required technology elements, as well as assisting in the field operations as a high level IT resource.
Previously, Jim served as the IT Client Services Supervisor for Fremont Investment & Loan where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations and client side support for over 500 local users and desktops, remote locations including laptop users, Blackberry device support, and phone PBX administration.

Ralph Nerette is the manager of security for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Mr. Nilsson serves on the SIA (Security Industry Association) Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Brad Reeves is a 19-year veteran of the loss prevention community, having worked in many facets of the retail industry including high-end/upscale, discount and grocery. He started his career at the entry level and worked his way up, holding positions as store detective, supervisor, manager, and district and regional manager. Brad currently is the director of loss prevention for The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, a multi-billion dollar enterprise that operates several grocery chains on the East Coast from Connecticut to Maryland. Les Paul Vernon has more than 23 years' experience as an IT Security Professional. Jon Victorine is the senior associate director of administrative services at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He oversees the design, implementation, training and maintenance of security technologies, including electronic card access, video surveillance and intrusion/fire alarms. He also has operational oversight of other campus services such as the campus One Card, Student Pay for Print and parking administration. In 2012, Jon spearheaded the campus migration of 375 card readers from one system to another and 200 cameras from local DVR recording to a centralized and redundant recording system; the campus has since expanded to more than 700 card readers and more than 400 cameras. Jon currently is overseeing a project to install access control on the exterior doors of all 49 campus buildings to create an automated lock-down environment and extending that ability to classrooms and conference rooms.
